    • Wellington W. Weber, 6894 Norfolk Street, Simcoe, and formerly of Elmira, died suddenly in Woodstock on Monday, May 10 in his 67th year. Born in Elmira, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Weber, he attended public school here and K-W Collegiate. He was married in Kitchener to Selda Shantz who survives him. He farmed in early life and later owned a dairy business in Elmira. A member of Evangelical United Brethren Church, Kitchener, he was very active as a Sunday school superintendent and teacher. The past member of the Elmira School Board and past president of the Elmira Fair Board, he came to Simcoe in 1944 where he purchased Caswell Dairy. He was president of that company at the time of his death. He was an adherent of first Baptist Church, Simcoe and a member of the Simcoe Rotary Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Raymond A. and Mrs. Robert Good (Jean), both of Simcoe. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Ephraim Bowman of Ravendale, Sask., and eight grandchildren. Two sons predeceased him. The late Mr. Weber is resting at the Veale Funeral Home until removal for public service at First Baptist Church, Simcoe on Thursday, May 13 at 2: 30 pm with Rev. Ottis Davidson officiating, assisted by Rev. Lorne Dorsch of Kitchener. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.
