    • BECKER, Leslie Fred -- On Monday, Dec. 24, 1979, at his home, Leslie Frederick Becker of Route 1, New Hamburg (Ratzberg). He was born in New Hamburg 82 years ago, a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Adam S. Becker. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, North Easthope Township. He was a market gardener, retiring several years ago. Beloved husband of Mabel Becker of Route 1, New Hamburg; step-brother of George Becker of Chelsey and Pearl (Mrs. Archie Thompson) of Chatham. He was predeceased by one step-sister. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley. The family will receive friends today from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. At noon on Friday, Dec.28, the remains will be removed to St. James Lutheran Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev Orval Jansen will officiate. Spring Interment will be in St. James' Lutheran cemetery.
