- ELMIRA - Oscar W. Holzworth, 60, of RR1, Elmira, died suddenly at his home Friday. Born April 26, 1891, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Holzworth. Mr. Holzworth was a well-known farmer and drover in the district for many years. He attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Mr. Holzworth married Edith Grosz who predeceased him in 1938. Last year he married Olive Barr of Kitchener, who survives. Also surviving are one son, George, on the home farm; one daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Edna) Welker of Waterloo; two brothers, Percy of Calgary and Emmerson of Fort Erie; two sisters, Mrs. Norman Beisel and Mrs. William Beisel of Elmira and four grandchildren. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2: 30 pm at St. Paul's Church with Rev. Frank Malinsky officiating. Interment will be in the Elmira Cemetery. The body will rest at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor Elmira, until Tuesday at 1 pm when removal will be made to the church. Friends are requested to pay their respects prior to the service.
