    • SUDDEN DEATH OF MRS. GEISEL

      WELL-KNOWN WOMAN RECEIVES SUDDEN CALL AT HER HOME IN WOOLWICH TOWNSHIP

      A very sudden death occurred on Wednesday evening, May 14th, when Mrs. George S. Geisel passed away at her home in Woolwich Township at the age of 54 years, 10 months and 7 days. Her death was very sudden and was due to a blood vessel bursting in her head. The late Mrs. Geisel's maiden name was Elizabeth Schedewitz. She was born about two miles north-east of Elmira, and after her marriage lived on the same farm for some time. She leaves to mourn her loss her bereaved husband, and two children, one son Theophil near home and one daughter Laura at home, her aged mother and five brothers, Simon L., John L., Albert, William and Henry. There is also one sister Clara (Mrs. Oscar Christman). The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the house, from there to St. Paul's Lutheran Church for service, thence to the Union cemetery for burial. Rev. Mr. Gallmeier will conduct the servicee.

      Many friends and relatives learned with deep regret of the sudden passing of Elizabeth Schedewitz, beloved wife of George S. Geisel, which took place at her home in Woolwich on Wednesday, May 14th., aged 54 years. Deceased was born on the Christian Esch farm, west of Elmira. There survive a sorrowing husband and two children, Theophile of Woolwich and Laura at home. Also an aged mother, Mrs. John Schedewitz of Wallenstein, and five brothers and one sister, Simon L. of Yatton, John L. of Wallenstein, Albert and William of Elmira, Henry of Wallen stein and Clara. (Mrs. Oscar Christ man) of Yatton.

      The funeral, which was largely attended, took place from the late residence on Saturday afternoon, where a short service was held after which an impressive service was conducted at the St. Paul's Luther an church, following which inter was made in the Union cemetery.
