    • Mrs. Elizabeth Reist

      Mrs. Elizabeth Reist, 78, of R. R. 3, Elmira, died in Elmira Private Hospital Monday. She was born near Erbsville, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schaefer. Her husband Ephraim, predeceased her in 1943. Mrs. Reist was a member of St. James' Lutheran Church, Elmira.

      Surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Oscar (Nelda) Oswald of Waterloo; Mrs. Arthur (Alberta) Smith of Elora; Mrs. Frederick (Clara) Rahn of Toronto; Mrs. Clement (Alice) Conrad and Mrs. John (Marie) Kaippel, both of Elmira; Mrs. Ernest (Wilma) Timm of Kitchener; Mrs. Arthur (Pearl) Brown of Walkerton; one son, Gordon of R. R. 3, Elmira; one sister, Mrs. Henry Koehler of Waterloo; five brothers, Adam and John of Kitchener; William and Albert of Waterloo and Henry of Bridgeport. Twenty-six grand-children and four great grand-children also survive.

      The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor until Wednesday at 1 p. m., when removal was made to St. James' Lutheran Church for service at 2:30. Interment in the Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. H. W. Baetz officiated.
