      There passed away at the home of her daughter near Bridgeport, on Tuesday, October 24, Elizabeth Ohliger, relict of the late John Schier holtz. Deceased was born near Bridgeport on February 25, 1871, the daughter of the late Christian Ohliger and his wife, Eva Hollinger. On the 2nd day of February, 1892, she was married to John Schierholtz, who predeceased her twelve years ago.

      Mrs, Schierholtz is survived by one son, Oscar, near Breslau, one daughter, Hilda, (Mrs. Henry K. Schae fer) near Bridgeport, and one adopted son, Raymond, near Breslau, and six grandchildren. There also survive one brother, Louis of Owen Sound, and three sisters, Carrie, (Mrs. C. Sass) of Kitchener; Katie, (Mrs. Grieve) of Stratford; and Bertha (Mrs. Henry Schaaf) of Kitch ener.

      The remains are resting at the Dreisinger Funeral Chapel, Elmira, from where the funeral will be held on Friday afternoon, Oct. 27, at 2 o'clock to St. James' Lutheran church for services and St. James' cemetery for burial.
