  Mrs. Henry Stange At her home on Arthur street north, Elmira, on Thursday evening last Mrs. Henry Stange passed away after two weeks illness from heart trouble. The late Mrs. Stange, whose maiden name was Catherine Kalbfleisch, was born in the Township of Woolwich, being a daughter of the late Reinhardt and Mrs. Kalbfleisch of that Township. The deceased lady was in her 76th year and 56 years ago was married to Henry Stange, who died about two years ago. Mrs. Stange was a highly esteemed resident of this community and she leaves to mourn her loss, one son, John Stange of Pilkington Township, and three daughters, namely, Minnie (Mrs. W. J. Main) of Kitchener, Emma (Mrs. Thomas C. Main) of Pilkington, Ivy (Mrs. Addison Miller) of Pilkington. A brother, Mr. John Kalbfleisch of Northville, Mich., also survives. The funeral, which took place from her late home on Sunday afternoon to Zion Evangelical Church was very largely attended. The pastor, Rev. E. D. Becker had charge of the services and was assisted by Rev. Mr. McGowan of Alma. Interment took place in the Elmira cemetery. Among those present at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John Kalbfleisch of Northville, Mich., Mrs. J. Schmidt and daughter of Elmwood, Mrs. R. Diebel of Hanover and Mr. and Mrs. A. Reist of Moorefield. Others were also present from Kitchener, Waterloo, Floradale, Hesson and other surrounding places. Elmira Signet 15 May 1930
