  Bauman.-Ada Bauman, daughter of Mrs. Silas Bauman, was born Dec. 6, 1896; died at her home near Floradale, Ont., Oct 4, 1924; aged 27 y. 9 m. 28 d. She leaves to mourn her loss, a mother, three sisters and seven brothers. She became sick June 29, 1924, and patiently endured her suffering until she quietly passed away. At the age of twelve she became a member of the Mennonite Church and served her Master till her death. The last four years she was engaged in teaching at her home school. Her heart was in her work. Though not very strong, she used her strength for the good of others. The funeral services were held Oct. 8, at the Woolwich Mennonite Church, near her home. The services were conducted by Brethren Abram Gingrich and Oliver D. Snider. The texts were Matt. 20: 15, first clause and Psalm 48: 13, 14. During the services her pupils sang the hymn, "Jesus, Lover of My Soul." Her remains were laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. "The golden gates were opened wide.
