  John B. Martin, "was born October 6th, 1835. He was married, June 1st, 1865, to Leah Geiger of Wilmot Centre, who was born November 11th, 1843, and died September 27th, 1888. He resides on part of lot No. 65, German Company's Tract, Waterloo Township, along the Woolwich line. His family consists of seven children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
