  EWARD F. REIST Edward F. Reist, 66, of Kitchener, died Monday, July 18, at K-W Hospital after a two-week illness. Born in Floradale, Dec. 3, 1893 he was a son of the late George Reist and Elizabeth Soehner. He came to Kitchener 48 years ago and was a tire builder at Dominion Rubber Company Ltd. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Clara Gerth. in 1933. Surviving are a son, Robert, and a daughter, Marie, of Kitchener; three brothers, Addison and Irvin of Floradale and William of RR 1, Kitchener; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Elizabeth) Borth of Moorefield, Mrs. Abs. (Martha) Eby of Elmira, Mrs. Edward (Emma) Ruggles of Floradale and Mrs. Emory (Florence) Ruby of Kitchener and one grandchild. He was predeceased by a brother. The body was at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home until noon Wednesday when removal was made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Chapel for service conducted by Rev. F. W. Zinck. Burial was in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
