  JACOB MAGNUS NEW GERMANY. Jan. 8 - Funereral services for Jacob Magnus, 78, Weisenburg, who died at his home on Saturday evening, following a rtroke, were held at St. Boniface church here at 10 a.m., today, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Joseph Diemert, officiated. Born in Pilkington township, deceased was married 48 years ago to Regina Weber. He has been ill for the past six years. Surviving are his widow, three sons, Andrew of Weisenburg, Jacob of New Ontario and Anthony at home, six daughters, Mrs. Walter Roth and Mrs. Ed Schults, both of Kitchener. Mrs. Joe Wright, Weisenburg, Mrs. Alfred Lehman, Mardcn, Mrs. Samuel Adrey of New Germany and Miss Annie at home. One daughter predeceased him. Kitchener Daily Record 3 Jan 1939 pg 13 __________________ Jacob Magnus New Germany - Funeral services were held here yesterday for Jacob Magnus, 76, who passed away at his home here on Saturday evening, the result of a stroke. Interment was made in the cemetery adjoining St. Boniface church. Besides his widow, he is survived by three sons, Andrew of Weisenberg, Jacob of New Ontario and Anthony, at home; six daughters, Mrs. Walter Roth and Mrs. Ed. Schultz, both of Kitchener, Mrs. Joe Wright of New Ontario, Mrs. Alf. Lehman, of Marden, Mrs. Samuel Adrey of New Germany, and Miss Annie, at home. One daughter predeceased him.
