The Funeral Will take place from his late residence, 21 Water street, on Wednesday, April 27, at two o'clock p.m., to St. Paul's Lutheran Church for service. Interment in Elmira Cemetery. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation

      Homesteaded Woolwich Farm Henry Heibein, Dead in 86th Year; Came to Canada When Only 9 Years Old.

      Succumbing to a comparatively short illness, Henry Heibein, one of the oldest residents of Elmira and Woolwich Township succumbed on Monday last at his home on Water Street.

      The late Mr. Heibein, who was 86 years of age, was born in Germany, March 15, 1841. When nine years of age, together with his parents, he came to Canada and when 21 years of age homesteaded three miles north of West Montrose. As a successful farmer he was well-known throughout North Waterloo. Twenty years ago, he retired and took up residence with his family in Elmira.

      The deceased man was married in 1865 to Elizabeth Zick of Wellesly Township who survives him. Six daughters and five sons also survive. They are; four brothers, Edward of Guelph; George of Owen Sound; and John of Gorrle; also survive, Mrs. Anna Shoemaker of Guelph is a sister. Mrs. William Goodwin, Guelph, Mrs. Elizabeth Paul, Lansing Mich., Mrs. George Steurnagel, Ann Arbor Mich., Mrs. Charles Solley, Washington; Mrs. E.W. Jones, Ann Arbor; Nora at home; George and Harry, Ann Arbor; Charles and John, Elora and Alex, Vancouver B.C..

      The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon to St. Paul's Lutheran Church and thence to Elmira cemetery.
