• Notes

  Mrs. George Johnson, a former resident of this village, was buried in Ayr Cemetery on Tuesday, following her death in St. Catharines on Saturday. The family, well known to many residents of the village, left here more than 20 years ago after residing on Swan Street for many years. Prior to moving to Ayr, the late Mrs. Johnson lived at Blair and Doon. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Susan Moore and Mrs. Jean Bauman, St. Catharines, and Mrs. Edna Donnenworth, Flint, Mich.; and five sons, Bert and Lawrence, Hespeler; George of St. Catharines, Roy at Hastings and Thomas of Willowdale.
