  At Rest Marsh At Willett Hospital, Paris, Ontario, on Wednesday, April 25, 1945 Jane C. Murray Widow of Peter Marsh. The Funeral Service will be held at her late residence, Piper Street, Ayr, Ontario, on Friday, April 27, at 2.30 p.m. Interment in Ayr Cemetery. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation Funeral Card _______________________________ Passing of Mrs. Marsh Was Member of One of Ayr's Oldest Families Mrs. Peter Marsh, a member of one of Ayr's oldest families, passed away in Willett Hospital, Paris, on Wednesday, April 25, after an illness of only a week. Mrs. Marsh, whose maiden name was Jane C. Murray, was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Murray. She was born in Ayr in the year 1865. Her father conducted a bakery in Ayr for many years and was a prominent member of the community in the early days. For 23 years, Mrs. Marsh had lived in Huntsville, but since the death of her husband 13 years ago, she had made her home in Montreal and Ayr. She is survived by one son, Percy, of the Dominion Bank, Montreal; one brother, Alexander Murray, and a sister, Mrs. W. D. Watson, of Ayr. The funeral, which took place on Friday afternoon from her late residence, Piper street, to the Ayr Cemetery, was largely attended. The services were in charge of Rev. R. A. Steed, pastor of Knox United Church, and the pallbearers were: J. W. Watson, A. W. Watson, G. S. Dalrymple, J. P. Ritchie, Dr. Ward Woolner and J. T. Chillies. Among those attending from out-of-town were: Mr. and Mrs. Percy Marsh, Montreal; W. B. Strachan, Hamilton; Mr. and Mrs. Hynes, Kitchener; Mrs. James H. Lovett, Toronto, and Harry Reid, Toronto.
