    • Miss Theresa Cassady Passes - Miss Theresa Cassady, one of the community's most popular citizens, passed away at K-W Hospital early Monday morning in her 68th year. She had been ill for some time. The late Miss Cassady was born in the rural district, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Cassady and had spent all of her life here. She was on the staff of the local post office for 44 years, retiring two years ago with the position of assistant postmistress. In this capacity Miss Cassady met and won the respect of everyone in the community. Her effervescent good nature and willingness to assist were two of her characteristics which were admired by all who made her acquaintance. The late Miss Cassady was a member of Knox United Church. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Gordon S. (Hazel) Dalrymple, Ayr. A brother, Arthur, gave his life in World War I.
