  Ayr Native Passes - Word has been received of the sudden passing of Mrs. Earl Wilfong of Verdun, Quebec, a former resident of Ayr. The former Margaret Henderson, Mrs. Wilfong was born in Ayr, the daughter of the late Thomas Henderson and Elizabeth Little, and attended school in this community. After her marriage to Earl Wilfong of Hespeler, the couple moved to Montreal and then to Verdun. Besides her husband, she is survived by ten children: Archie (Rev. A. Wilfong), Kathleen (Mrs. J. Brawley), Elaine (Mrs. M. Allan), Irene (Mrs. B. T. Rust), Lillian (Mrs. W. Woods), Grace (Mrs. A. M. Jordan), Clifford, Helen (Mrs. H. Cake), Ralph and Alan. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. J. Wood of Hamilton, Ontario, a sister-in-law, Mrs. J. Henderson of Ayr, and 19 grandchildren. The funeral was held on Friday, April 19, with interment in Rideau Memorial Gardens.
