- The Late Henry Williams - Died, in Ayr, on Wednesday, March 10, 1920, at 10 o'clock am, Henry Williams. The deceased had been in poor health for some time. His wife predeceased him about three weeks. He was born in England and came to this country soon after marrying. He had been a resident of Ayr for 35 years and was highly respected as a quiet, unobtrusive citizen. For years he was in the employ of Mr. McColl and the W. A. Ramsay Co. as porter. Mr. Williams was a Forester and secretary of the local lodge from its organization here. In religion he was a Methodist. A son and four daughters survive. The funeral took place on Friday, the pallbearers being fellow Foresters, viz.: Bros. Chisholm Scott, Chris Leiska, Robt. Taylor, J. Urquhart, Ep. Hawes, and Rich McGrogan. Among the friends who attended the obsequies were Mr. and Mrs. Chas Bushell of Aaron, Ohio; Mrs. A. E. Halliday and daughter of Toronto; Mr. Maus, Detroit, and Rev. John H. Williams, Chicago.
