    • Mrs. Frederick Clark, Former Ayrite

      Word has been received here of the death of a native of this village, Mrs. Frederick Clark, who passed away in Edmonton on February 22. The former Mary Anderson Watson, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Watson, respected Ayr residents. She resided here until leaving for the West in 1905, where she married Frederick Clark, who predeceased her. The late Mrs. Clark had been a resident of Edmonton for many years. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. M. C. Watts (Margaret) of Sidney, B.C., and Mrs. Gladys Hansen of Los Angeles, Cal., and a grandson, William Clark. Her only son, F. Watson Clark, was killed in Germany in World War II. Funeral service was held Saturday at Norwood Church in Edmonton, with burial in that city.
