- Death of Mrs. Ed. Stevenson
The death took place at her residence 97 Hazleton Ave., Toronto, yesterday (Wednesday) morning, of an old and highly respected former resident of Ayr, in the person of Mrs. Edward Stevenson, at the age of 72 years. Mrs. Stevenson lived in Ayr for many years up to late last fall, when she moved to Toronto. Her husband predeceased her less than two years and a family of two survive, James and Nettie, both of whom resided with their mother. Deceased was a member of Stanley St. Church, and many ardent friends will deeply regret her demise. The funeral takes place in the arrival of the 6:30 train this (Thursday) evening, when interment will be made in Ayr cemetery.
