Notes |
- Elizabeth Gingerich, "third daughter, was married to David Burkholder. They resided in Barton, Lincoln County. Their family consisted of eighteen children. None of the family settled in this county save Samuel who resided in Preston where he was engaged in building and carpentering. He was married to a daughter of John Rosenberger and had a family of several children. One daughter, Mary, is married to Isaac H. Wismer and resides in Preston, Ontario, one to a Mr. Beck, and one to a Mr. Hunsberger, while Lemuel, a son, also resides in Preston."
Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.].
