  Mrs. Thomas Marshall - The death occurred last Thursday at noon, at her home one mile east of Roseville, of Mrs. Thomas Marshall, in her 59th year. Mrs. Marshall had been in failing health for some time. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Swan of Ayr, and was born in Blenheim township. Mrs. Marshall was a faithful member of Doon Presbyterian Church, and she will be sadly missed in the church and community. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Harold S. Osborne of Toronto and Mrs. Lorne Debrusk of Blair; one son, George Rae Marshall of Hamilton; two sisters, Mrs. John Falland of Clinton and Mrs. Isabella Veitch of Roseville; two brothers, George and James Swan of Ayr, and three grandchildren. The funeral, which was largely attended, took place to the Ayr Cemetery on Saturday afternoon. Rev. Walter Patterson of Preston conducted the services, and the pallbearers were: R. Veitch, D. Lockie, J. Henderson, J. Perrin, J. Bruce and N. Kaiser. There were many beautiful floral tributes. Friends and relatives were present from Toronto, Hamilton, Preston, Kitchener, New Dundee, Blair and Ayr. The Ayr News Nov 22 1934
