  Death Of Miss Waterman - Highly-Esteemed Resident of Village Passes Suddenly on Sunday - Miss E. Katharine Waterman passed away at 2 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of Miss Margaret Cochrane as the result of a heart attack. Deceased had not been in good health of late years, but her passing came as a shock. She was born in Ayr and had spent all her life here. Her mother passed away about three years ago. She was a member of Knox United Church, a member of the choir in the days when her health permitted and was highly respected for her fine character. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Grace Bechthold, Paris, and one brother, William of Hamilton. The funeral took place from Knox United Church on Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock to Ayr Cemetery with Rev. J. W. Currie in charge of the services. At the church, the ladies` quartette sang the beautiful selection, "Heaven is My Home." The pallbearers were: George Waterman, Robert Waterman, William Smith, Galt; A. M.
