  Mrs. John A. Manson Passes A lifelong resident of this community and one of its most respected citizens, Mrs. John A. Manson passed away in Willett Hospital, Paris, on Friday in her 81st year. She had been in ill health for a lengthy period. The former Ethel Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson, early pioneers in this district. The late Mrs. Manson was Presbyterian by faith. She was deeply interested in all social and civic activities in the village and was for many years a valued member of the Ayr Women's Institute. She was affiliated with the Waterloo County Historical Society, making good use of her knowledge of local history. Besides her husband, she is survived by a niece, Mrs. R. L. Donaldson of Galt, and a nephew, Robert M. Anderson of Toronto. She was predeceased by two brothers, Dr. J. Marshall Anderson and William L. Anderson, both of Galt, and a sister, Mrs. George Ross (Nell) of Yorkton, Sask. The Funeral Funeral service was held on Monday at her late residence, Stanley St., conducted by Rev. Dr. David Dowdy of Central Presbyterian Church, Galt. Interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. Pallbearers were: J. Morton Guthrie, Roland E. Mater, Robert V. Lovett and G. S. Dalrymple, Galt, and R. M.
