      HESPELER, Daniel Wesley Beaver, 97, of RR 1 Hespeler (Beaverdale), died today at the Coutts Pavilion, after three years of failing health. He was born in Beaverdale and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Beaver. He farmed all his life in the district, except for a few years spent in Michigan. Mr. Beaver, was also a former Waterloo Township assessor. His wife, the former Janet Weir, died in 1936. Surviving are two sons, Wesley and Lorne of Beaverdale; two daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Helen) Ball of Beaverdale and Mrs. Herbert (LiIli) Shiry of Preston; a brother, Maurice of Preston; a sister, Mrs. Caroline Watson of Chicago; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. (one son and one daughter, predeceased him. The body will be at the Stager Nelson Funeral Home, from Thursday evening, until the funeral there at 2 p.m., Saturday, conducted by Rev. Merle Shantz, of 44 Wyndham Centre. Burial will be at Wanner Mennonite Cemetery, Beaverdale.
