- Samuel Reist, "was born January 1st, 1795. He was married to Salome, daughter of Jacob and Salome (Graybill) Erb. She was born August 4th, 1808, and died in Berlin, January 15th, 1888. He died on his farm in Woolwich Township, near St. Jacobs, January 20th, 1883. To them was born a family of seven children"
