    • Joseph Ueberschlag

      Joseph Ueberschlsg, 73, of 97 Weber St. East, died suddenly, in the lobby of St. Joseph's RC Church, Sunday. Born in St. Agatha, Feb. 21, 1880, he was a son of the late Joseph Ueberschlag and Magdelena Voll. Mr. Ueberschiag was a millwright at the L. Marine Company, Ltd., until two years ago when he retired. A member of St. Joseph's Church, he was also a member of the Holy Name Society. Surviving are three brothers, Henry of Kitchener, Alfred of Waterloo and Louis of Shakespeare and two sisters, Agnes of Kitchener and Mrs. John (Lena) Arnold of New Hamburg. The body is at the Schreiter-Sandrock funeral home, where prayers will be said, Wednesday, at 8: 30 a.m., followed by requiem high mass, at St. Joseph's church, at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Agatha cemetery. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home, Tuesday, at 8 p.m.
