Notes |
- He was a sea captain, trained in New Bruswick, served on a lake steamer, but preferred the sea. He spent many years in the east and gathering "gifts of rare beauty from many lands" which his son sold in his jewelery story. He retired to Galt.
Cambridge Mosiac, Jim Quantrell, 1998, City of Cambridge [snippet from original text in book]
