- George Steep George Steep, 82, of 1072 Oak avenue, a woodworker at the Gardiner Sash and Door Company, Galt, for the 25 years, died last night in Hotel Dieu Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Steep was born in Milton and came to Windsor two and a half months ago. He was a member of Wesley United Church, Galt, and the Galt Kiltie Band. Surviving is a son, Earl Steep, of Kitchener; a daughter, Mrs.
L. B. (Ada Irene) Hewer, of Windsor; a brother, Fred Steep, of a sister, Mrs. Fred McLelland, of Guelph, and a grandchild. The body will be sent to the Little funeral home, Galt, today from the Morris Walkerville Chapel for funeral service Wednesday afternoon.
Burial will be in Mount View Cemetery, Galt.
