  GOUDY, PETER One of Galt's elder citizens, early Friday afternoon, at his home at 23 Hopeton St., in his 83rd year. Mr. Goudy was a machinist, who learned his trade at Cowan and Co., where he worked for some years. Later, he was a foreman at the Preston Woodworking Machinery Co. for many years. Mr. Goudy was a member of Court Manchester, Canadian Order of Foresters. He was a keen sportsman and an enthusiastic baseball fan. He seldom missed a game at Dickson Park. Surviving are one daughter, Viola (Mrs. George Baines); one son, Elvin A. Goudy of Galt; three grandchildren, Catherine and Janice Baines and Peter Goudy; a sister, Mrs. William Mullin and a brother. Ted Goudy, both of Galt. His wife predeceased him in 1949. Service at the T. Little and Son Funeral Home, 39 Grand Ave. N., Galt on Tuesday at 3: 30, with interment in Mount View Cemetery.
