  Kitchener Soloist at Elmira Rites By Record Correspondent FLORADALE, April 9, -- The home of Mr. and Mrs. Ervine Shoemaker, R.R. 1, Elmira, was the scene of a pretty wedding Saturday when their youngest daughter Verna May, exchanged vows with Mr. Maurice Bauman eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Absalom Bauman, R.R. 2, Elmira Daffodils, lilies and ferns created a charming setting for the ceremony performed by Bisshop O. D. Snyder, Elmira. Kitchener Solist Miss Grace Shoemaker, Kitchener, cousin of the bride, was soloist. Miss Mary Burkhart, Kitchener, cousin of the bride, was pianist, and played wedding music from Lohengrin as the bridal party entered the living room. The bride wore a gown of white Romania jersey with a V neckline and sutache braid with bugle bead trim. long full sleeves with fitted cuffs, shirred midriff and a long full skirt. Her bouquet was a cascade of red roses and stephanotis. Cousin Attendant Miss Erla Musselman, cousin of the bride was maid of honor, wearing a gown of mint green corded taffeta, round neck line, long fitted sleeves and scalloped fitted bodice, ending in a long full skirt. She carried a cascade of pink roses and stephanotis. Mr. Ray Bauman, brother of the bridegroom was best man. Ushering were Mr. Mervin Bauman, Elmira cousin of the bridegroom and Mr. Bruce Shoemaker, Paisley, cousin of the bride. 80 at Reception A reception was held for guests. The mothe of the bride received in a navy crepe dress, black accessories and corsage of pink carnations. Assisting was the bridegroom's mother in a light blue dress, black accessories and corsage of pink carnations For a wedding trip to points in the United States, the bride donned a navy gabardine suit with pink and black accessories.
