  Mrs. Ruth Pendergast LEVERETT - Mrs. Ruth (Jaffray) Pendergast, 81, of Amherst Road, Leverett, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, died Tuesday at a nursing home. Born in Kitchener, Canada, Nov. 4, 1890, she was the daughter of Robert M. and Laura (Reynolds) Jaffray. She attended Montreal schools and Girton School for Girls in Chicago, Ill. She was the widow of M. Harrison Pendergast. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Maumee, Ohio, and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Amherst. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Constance Hirsch of New York City and Mrs. Elliott Carlisle of Leverett. The funeral will be Wednesday at Grace Episcopal Church.
