    • Mrs. William Williamson Passes

      A well-known Ayr district resident, Mrs. William Williamson, passed away in Tillsonburg Memorial Hospital on Sunday. She had been in ill health for some time and recently had gone to Tillsonburg to reside with her daughter. The former Charlotte Kerr, she was born in Harriston but had resided on a farm north of Ayr for many years. Her husband predeceased her in 1961. The late Mrs. Williamson was a member of Knox United Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donovan Rabb (Ruth) of Tillsonburg; a son, Russell of Cornwall; two brothers, Lavern Kerr of Toledo, Ohio, and John Kerr of Galt. Five grandchildren also survive.

      The Funeral

      Funeral service was held on Tuesday at the Coutts and Son funeral Home, Galt, conducted by Rev. W. J. V. Buchanan. Interment was in Ayr Cemetery. The pallbearers were: William Wallace, James Rutherford, Burt Myers and Gordon Marshall of Ayr community; Robert Kerr of Galt and Percy Dryden.
