    • The Funeral of Mrs. Hallman

      Sarah Anna, wife of M. S. Hallman, who died at Berlin Tuesday, Sept 26 at 9 p.m. at age 35 years, 2 months and 23 days was buried in Mt Hope Cemetery this afternoon; the funeral leaving her husband's residence at 1: 30 p.m. and thence proceeding to the Evangelical Church, Waterloo where service was held. Many friends paid a last tribute of respect to the deceased who by her genial ways had made many warm friends in the community.

      On Tuesday, Sept. 26th, death terminated the earthly career of Sarah Anna Anthes, wife of Mr. M. S. Hallman, of the Chronicle staff, Waterloo. The deceased had been a sufferer from that dreaded disease, consumption, for two years... She leaves behind her a sorrowing husband and a little two-year-old girl.
