Notes |
- A.Lindsay Pollock, well known businessman, passed away Friday morning at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. He was born in Galt and resided here all his life. For the past 35 years he was engaged in the monument business of Pollock and Ingham, latterly known as Pollock and Campbell. He was member of Knox's Presbyterian Church and served for many years as clerk of the session. His interest and activities in the church were rewarded by the session elevating him to the position of honorary clerk of the session, which indicated the esteem with which he was held by members of the congregation. He was a veteran of the First World War, serving with the signal corps. He is survived by his wife, the former Jessie Campbell, 41 Pollock Ave., one brother Andrew T.; three nephews also survive. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home, 39 Grand Ae. N. Funeral service will be on Monday, April 9, at 3 p.m. Entombment will be t Mount View Mausoleum.
