  Mrs. Christian L. Brenneman The death of Catharine Roth, beloved wife of Mr. Christian L. Brenneman occurred at her home in South Easthope on Sunday, July 20th, at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 11 days. She had been in poor health for several months, having had several slight strokes and for the past few weeks was seriously ill. She had been a resident of this community all her life and was highly esteemed and beloved by all who knew her. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Roth and was born in East Zorra. Since her marriage 43 years ago to her now bereaved husband she resided on the farm in South Easthope where she passed away. She leaves her husband and three daughters to mourn her death. The children are (Veronica) Mrs. John B. Jantzi, of Wilmot, (Mattie) Mrs. Joseph Steinman, on the homestead and (Sarah) Mrs. Jacob Steinman, of South Easthope. She also leaves three grandchildren, two brothers, Nich S. Roth, New Hamburg, Joel Roth, of Pigeon, Mich., and one sister, Mrs. Abraham Kipfer, of Wilmot. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon from her late home to the 16th line A.-M. church in East Zorra, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
