  BOND, Stephen J. Preston, on February 19, 1977, at his residence, Stephen J. Bond, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Gertrude (Costigan); dear father of Carolyn (Mrs. Malcolm DeVera) of Cambridge; dear brother of Arnold, of California, Harold of Vancouver, James of Atwood, Miss Marian of Cambridge; also survived by two grandchildren. Mr. Bond was born in Stratford, resided all his life in Cambridge. He was employed as an agent for the CP Express Company, in Preston, retiring in 1983. He was a veteran of the First World War, member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 128 and a member of the Galt Masonic Lodge. Funeral service was conducted this afternoon at 2 p.m., at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (Preston). Interment followed in St. Clement's cemetery.
