  Death of Mr. John Goodwin Intelligence was received on Sunday of the death of this gentleman, known here to many through his marriage a few years ago to Miss Mary Ann McMillan, fourth daughter of the late Mr. Jas. McMillan. Mr. Goodwin was of a pushing, energetic habit, and since he took up his residence in Omaha he was largely engaged in business, with the full intention of making his home there for the future. Mrs. Goodwin, who has been in rather poor health for some time, spent all last winter at the family residence here, and having largely recovered, was on the eve of leaving to join her husband when the terrible telegram reached her. Mr. John McMillan left for Omaha on Monday morning, with the intention of bringing Mr. Goodwin's remains home for interment.
