- Suddenly, on Saturday evening, [August 15, 1936], at Clyde, in her 71st year. Widow of Peter Angus, who passed away some seven years ago. Mrs. Angus had many friends in Beverly Township and in Galt, where lately she was a member of First United Church. She married forty-three years ago and the couple lived on the Gore line of Puslinch in Beverly Township. During these earlier years, she attended Kirkwall Church. About two years after her husband's passing, Mrs. Angus moved to Clyde. She leaves two daughters and two sons, Edna in Galt; and Isabella at home; William J. at Clyde; George A. on the homestead on the Gore line; two sisters, Mrs. I. Rigsby of Haddington St. in Galt; Mrs. A. Beattie of the 9th concession of Beverly; three brothers, Benjamin, William and Isaac Hobson of the 10th concession of Beverly; and five grandchildren. Funeral from the T. Little and Son Ltd. Funeral Home on Tuesday at 2 to Kirkwall Cemetery.
