  Death came with tragic suddenness Friday afternoon to Florence Snowball, relict of the late Dr. Albert Hawk, who passed away less than a year ago. The city was shocked at the news of Mrs. Hawk's passing and her circle of friends was deeply grieved. Mrs. Hawk had been alone during the afternoon, her sister-in-law, Miss Agnes Hawk, having been out visiting for the afternoon and when she returned home, found Mrs. Hawk lying on the couch, evidently having laid down for a rest. Doctors were immediately summoned and they declared life extinct and that deceased had been dead a couple of hours. Mrs. Hawk had not been ailing and her death was due to a heart attack. The late Mrs. Hawk had been a resident of Galt most of her life. She was of a retiring disposition but very active in the Nurses' Alumnae of the city. Her only survivor is a son, William, a medical student at Toronto University who has been spending his summer vacation with a surveying party in Newfoundland. Funeral arrangements will depend upon his arrival home. Galt Evening Reporter September 8, 1928
