  THE DEPARTED JULIUS APPEL The death of Julius Appel, 70 years, occurred suddenly at Kenmore, New York, yesterday. The deceased some years ago suffered a stroke from which he had recovered to such an extent that he was able to be around and to attend the funeral of his sisters in Kitchener last fall. Mr. Appel was born on Jan. 3, 1864, and left Kitchener about 30 years ago. He is survived by his wife, formerly Clara Boehmer of this city, and two daughters, Mrs. Fleming and Mrs. Hoe, both of Kenmore. One daughter Susie, predeceased him. The funeral will be held from the Benton Street Baptist Church at two o'clock Saturday afternoon. Interment will be made in Mount Hope Cemetery.
