    • Mrs. John Hallman Passes Away at Hanover The death occurred in Hanover on Tuesday, October 1, 1929, of Minnie Hertel, beloved wife of John Hallman, and mother of Eldon and Arnold Hallman, Listowel. In 1850, she was born in Hanover, where all her life she spent. For the past three months Mrs. Hallman has been in poor health and the cause of her death was dropsy. On November 1, 1870, she was married to her sorrowing husband, who, with three sons and two daughters, survive as follows: Eldon and Arnol Hallman, Listowel; Mrs. Harry Sewell, Hanover; Mrs. Harry Beuhlow, Walkerton; and Clayton, Hanover. Mr. Herb Hallman is deceased. Mrs. Hallman was a member of the United Church. The funeral was held today (Thurs. October 3) from her late residence at Hanover, with service in the United Church conducted by her pastor, Rev. Morrow. Internment was made in Hanover Cemetery.
