  Bowman, Robert (Bob) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Sunnyside Home, at the age of 89. Beloved husband and best friend of Eileen (nee Weltz) Bowman for 65 years. Cherished father of Alan (Gabriel Leung) and Christine Morrison (Brent) of Victoria, B.C. Grandfather of Steven (Jaclyn), David and Scott. Brother of Dorothy Bowman. Bob sang in the St. Matthews Lutheran Church Choir for over 61 years. Bob's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A service to celebrate Bob's life will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church (54 Benton St., Kitchener) at 11 a.m. Reception immediately following the service. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Kitchener-Waterloo, St. Matthews Lutheran Church or Sunnyside Home would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
