      Architect: Gerald Musselman; Mark/Musselman/McIntyre/Combe Architects (1979)
      Year Built: 1853-1892. Renovated 1979 Preston School Apartments has struggled through history. Built using indigenous stone, the school was the first to offer free education in Upper Canada. Ravaged by fire and slated for demolition, the historic Central Public School building was renovated and preserved as seniors housing.1a
