  BAER, Mabel (nee Brubacher) Passed peacefully away July 17, 2016 at Nithview Home in New Hamburg in her 88th year. Loving wife of the late Martin L. Baer. Survived by her brother Clarence Brubacher (Nancy), six children, Linda Baer of Fergus, Bob Baer (Cindy) of Brampton, Greg Baer (Linda) of Toronto, Charmaine Duffield (Charles) of Kitchener, Tom Baer (Anne) of Prince George, British Columbia, Valerie McNeish (Brant) of Hanover, 11 grandchildren, Jesse, Jonathan, Leela, Benjamin, Rachel, Peter, Annika, Emma, Yorge, Hilory, Haela, and 5 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by brothers and sisters, Salema, Wesley, Edna, Abner, and Alice. She will be fondly remembered by all her friends and relatives. Mabel's family will receive visitors at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2723 Victoria Street North, Breslau (Kitchener) 519-904-0400 on Thursday, July 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, July 22nd at 11 a.m. preceded by a visitation at 10 a.m., following the service an interment at the Memory Gardens Cemetery, with a reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Foundation.
