  ADARE, D. Elizabeth "Betty" (Herbert)-Of Williamsville, N.Y. 1930-2001. Mrs. Adare was a native of Toronto, Ont., Canada where she attended the Clinton Elementary School, Central Commerce High School and the University of Waterloo. She was an art history graduate of the University of Buffalo. She was a publicist marketing manager, having worked at Eaton's (Toronto), Electrohome (Kitchener) and the Theatre of the Arts at the University of Waterloo (Waterloo). She had been an active volunteer with the Buffalo B.P.O. and the Albright Knox Art Gallery, where she served as a Docent and had been chair of the Rental Sales Gallery. In Kitchener, she had been President of the Little Theater, active in the Granite Club and the Jaycettes. Mrs. Adare is survived by her husband, Robert Adare of Williamsville; two daughters, Dawn and David Grasse of Killworthy, Ont., and Leslie and Michael Kitchen of Burlington, Ont.; one son, Ian and Debbie Adare of Kitchener, Ont.; two sisters, Ruth and Don Whitcomb of St. Charles, Mo. and Grace and Ian McCall of Unionville, Ont. Predeceased by a brother, Richard "Chip" Herbert. She has four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Visitation at Dietrich Funeral Home, 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, N.Y. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2001 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 4275 Harris Hill Rd., Williamsville N.Y.
