    • MRS. GEORGE B. OBERHOLTZER Mrs. George B. Oberholtzer, of St. Jacobs, passed away on Friday, March 10, after a serious illness lasting for about three months. The deceased was nearly 58 years of age.

      Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her loss, one daughter Florence, Mrs. Harold Trussler, Kirchner, one son, Earl, of Winnipeg; two sisters, Mrs. Bert Dyer, Chatham and Mrs. A. B. Cortez, of Vancouver; three brothers, Clayton Hallman, of Bowmanville; Garfield, of Vancouver, and Oliver of Winnipeg.

      The funeral, held Monday afternoon. was largely attended. In the absence of Rev. Hauch, due to illness, Rev. S. R. Knechtly officiated. Taking for his text, Rom. 8, 18, he preached a soul-stirring sermon. The Ladies' Aid, of which Mrs. Oberholtzer was a very valued member, sang two beautiful hymns, which were very touching.

      The pall-bearers were: Solomon Eby, Howard Gies, Gordon Henrich, Oscar Good, Harry Garner and Holden Appel. Interment was made in Calvary Cemetery of the Evangelical Church.
