- Mary Baumann, "the third daughter of Joseph Bowman, was born January 26th, 1794, and died February 11th, 1838. She was married to Joseph Schneider, Jr. They resided three miles north of the town of Waterloo, on the farm now in possession of their son, Christian B. Snyder."
