      Galt Machine Knife Works

Among the many industries for which Galt is noted none have contributed more than the Galt Machine Knife Works, owned by Peter Hay. His manufactory has become a household word to the users of all kinds of machine knives, planers, moulding, shingle, tennon and mitre knives. In all parts of the Dominion where knives are used they are to be found. Mr. Hay's patronage is well deserved, wide as it is, as nothing inferior to the best is turned out. As a citizen he enjoys the confidence of his townsmen and is highly esteemed.
