- HUTCHISON, EUPHEMIA (Nee McLarty)
At 8: 30 on Wednesday morning, September 23, 1931, at her home, 330 East Main St. in Galt. Wife of William Hutchison. She was born at Killean in Puslinch Township and was in her 67th year. She had spent most of her life in Galt. In religion, a Presbyterian, she was a member of Knox Church. Survived by her husband; one son, George W. ; two daughters, Mrs. D. J. Champ of Regina; Effie, at home; two brothers, John McLarty of Breslau; Charles of Hamilton; one sister, Mrs. George Hutchison of Galt; and three grandchildren. Funeral on Friday at 2: 30 from the above address to Mount View Cemetery. The service was conducted by Rev. W. Patterson Hall and Rev. R. E. Knowles. Pallbearers: T. Lockie, L. Shupe, E. Hetherington, F. Couch, H. Champ and F. Johnston (Guelph). During the service Miss Ada Bailey and E. Hetherington sang "One Sweetly Solemn Thought", a favourite hymn of Mrs. Hutchison. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful.
