- New Acquisition: Second World War Materials
Earlier this year, we were fortunate to receive a donation of Second World War material related to Frank Edward Day (1916-1987) from Kitchener.
Day served as a telegrapher with the Royal Canadian Navy, primarily onboard a destroyer, the HMCS Assiniboine. Items in the collection include two uniforms, military documents, Day's dog tags, and a wooden tray used on the Assiniboine.
